PFF3 is a two.insert designed to limit transmission movement under load. The lower A.acts to fill the voiding of the original rubber mount, while the upper B.acts as a buffer to eliminate movement between the upper and lower portions of the mount. An increase in NVH should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the transmission and chassis. The harder the material, the greater the NVH transmitted. If the increased NVH is considered too much, the upper B.can be removed to relieve this. For the Audi A7, this part only fits front.drive models.
